Born in 1969 in Stuttgart, Germany. At the age of 4 he moved to Italy where he attended the European School in Varese, where he graduated in 1987. He graduated in Economics and Business Administration at the Bocconi University in Milan in 1993. Since then he has been working for Diwa, an import-export company, where he started his work as agent for Germany and as for Northern and Eastern Europe.In 2006 he became a partner and managing director of the same company, a position he still holds today.Following the division of ETI's organization into two BUs, as of February 1, 2020, he is also Director BUIndustrial Sales of Eurotranciatura S.p.A.Axel is passionate about extreme sports. In the past, he has been involved in high mountain climbing and racing walking, which puts his physical and mental endurance to the test.Today he is mainly dedicated to work and family.
