As the Lead Technical Product Owner for Layer 6’s AI/ML Engine, I am responsible for the product strategy and roadmap for the AI engineering platform and framework that underpins TD’s AI and Machine Leaning models.The engine is used by machine learning scientists and practitioners to build AI and ML models spanning from elegant binary classification models to innovative transformer-based approaches such as Foundation Models and Large Language Models.Previously, I was a Senior Data Science Manager driving innovation by leveraging Advanced and Analytics and AI / Machine Learning within Fraud and Financial Crimes. Before that, I was a Technical Product Owner at Layer 6 AI, TD's AI and ML Research and Development lab, leading adoption of state-of-the-art models focusing on Digital Banking and Natural Language Processing. While also developing guidelines and processes to manage the Model Risk of Machine Learning models.My education and early career background is focused on statistical modelling, with a specialization in model risk management, credit risk, and econometrics.
