Moving forward within the Metrics and Logs my duty is a constant improvement of Aiven OpenSearch, Redis, Grafana offerings automation code. This includes version updates, implementing support for new software features, fixing compatibility issues, internal/external support and PR review of the team development.Was working on Elasticsearch to OpenSearch migration in Aiven DBaaS offering. Apart from internal cross-team collaboration that involved a decent amount of code change, designing and implementing a complex migration path for Aiven's fleet of services together with sunsetting Elasticsearch and cleaning up Aiven core code base.After Aiven adopted Thanos experience in control plane my team and me as feature lead have been able to release Aiven for Metrics which is essentially Thanos under the hood. Apart from these activities, implemented cloud partner integration that went not without constant obstacles that needed to be resolved both implementation and collaboration-wise.Actively participated in the interview process from homework review to hands-on exercises and leading technical interviews with a total of around 20-40 candidates depending on the interview stage. Also on-boarded new joiners afterward.Have a regular on-call duty both weekdays and weekends, which includes debugging and troubleshooting production issues with customer services and Aiven infrastructure.

When started to work at Aiven I became part of the metrics and logs team that maintains and constantly improves services provided for customers as a service. Was busy improving Elasticsearch, Redis and Grafana customer experience.Implemented partner integration with Exoscale cloud provider allowing customers of Exoscale to get access to Aiven DBaaS offerings. Apart from core system development, constant close collaboration with Exoscale was necessary: taking care of the partner's API improvements design, troubleshooting and going live together.

Being as only one backend developer in VideoStory project (https://videostory.app) I've created backend system that includes Rest API for mobile devices, video storage with transcoding, payments service, push-notifications, analytics service and a CRM.

After join EO team I started to develop new backend system that provides unified interface for communicating with growing list of blockchains. System is located on border of classic and blockchain technology and already proofed it's consistency and stability in production environment.

In two years I developed three project from scratch:- BSAdverts (https://abtech.ltd/products/bs-adverts) - application for Ad insertion inside live television stream (Apple HTTP Live Streaming) using SCTE-35 markers. There was a lot of work with design interfaces with Ads agency(VAST, SCTE130), different part of the IPTV-solution parts (REST) and architecture of the application itself and a lot of difficulties related to MPEGTS and smooth playback on devices. I used Python3 and asyncio, aiohttp, redis in this project.- Ratatosk - application responsible for aggregating and analysis BGP full view for further importing this information inside IPTV-solution for better customer experience with fetching video content from neareast video-streamer.- DASH-Repackager - application reponsible for converting and reencrypting from various formats to another. First of all it was Apple HLS to MPEG-DASH conversion with changing DRM system from Verimatrix to WideVine. Application have a lot of difficulties to be solved. For this project I developed C-module for Python so I can use С++ libavformat и bentoo4 libraries.This application is part of solution for delivery various multimedia formats with different DRM-system to customers.
