Directly reporting to the CEO and managing the overall business, nationally and internationally, including the development as well as operations departments. Major responsibilities include;• Lead the software development and IT strategy and implementation• Deliver business and IT applications that support the business strategy• Effectively communicate complex IT issues to executive management and translate business needs into technical requirements for IT to deliver.• Evaluate and select technical tools that the development team will utilize in software development• Play a key role in developing and managing the annual operating and capital budgets for technology and IT services.• Develop and ensure process standards and procedures are being followed• Adopt IT industry standard solutions wherever possible• Align with industry best practices• Evaluate technology trends and developments for business opportunities and risks, and introduce strategies to capitalize on these opportunities and to mitigate risks• Ensure the security and protection of corporate information systems and equipment; align IT risk management initiatives and lead all disaster recovery plans• Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.

Responsible for application development and support for assigned applications; interfaces with high-level partners; provide leadership and administrative management for assigned staff.
