My education and beginning experience was centered around music and I achieved many of my goals in that area with my first job out of college. I became a skilled, driven audio engineer with several years of experience in studio recording, production and post-production. I gained expertise in recording studio equipment and systems used in commercial audio production. At the time I enjoyed many local and national credits. Since I started my own company, audio production has been a service I offer but have only worked on small independent projects using my own equipment.I transitioned into information technology based on my technical strengths in computing and mathematics. Music was an exciting industry to work in, but there was not room for anything else in my life so it was natural to move to an industry that was better suited to the prospect of raising a family. I bought my first computer when I was 12 and have been programming ever since, so the beginnings of a business happened as I was offering my skills in programming to others who needed it but were doing projects that were not funded by a business. Eventually I had enough word of mouth referrals to land clients who had the ability to pay for my services and I began programming in what little spare time I had outside of the studio. Once I had moved out of music I spent a couple of years as a systems administrator while I built a client base that could support me on a full time basis.My business has given me the opportunity to work for a large variety of business types and learn many things that I would not have otherwise. I am constantly learning new things in order to meet the needs of each and every client, new and longstanding. I have been lucky to work for many great companies that have kept me busy over the years and it has been rewarding to see that my efforts have been a part of their success.
