-In charge of establishing mechanisms to ensure the capture, storage, analysis and exchange of aviation safety data and information on hazards and safety risks at both service providers and aggregate State level. This, includes: 1. Collecting and analysing safety information in a timely manner; 2. Administering and processing any safety-related data, information, reports and surveys; 3. Ensuring that risk assessments are conducted when applicable; 4. Monitoring the industry for safety concerns 5. Ensuring the establishment and maintenance of a state aviation hazard register -Setting up Centralised Aviation Safety Data Analysis System in line with Total System Approach, starting from Data Consolidation to Data Completeness from all operators and every aircraft entering Qatar's Airspace.-Responsible for analysing the safety data coming from various sources (accident, serious incidents, incidents, occurrences, state oversight & inspections data, continued airworthiness data etc.) and carrying out its analysis. -Responsible for maintaining the State’s Hazard Register through proper HIRM (Hazard Identification & Risk Management) -In addition of being custodian to State Hazard Register, daily conduct & lead Safety Action Preparatory Group Meetings that deal the day to day business of occurrences. This helps to identify the Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) which are reflected in quarterly State Safety Reports. -Leading the Safety Data Analysis mechanism from front by actively meeting with the Aerodrome Operators, Aircraft Operators, Air Navigation Service Providers and Training Organisations on behalf of the State with regards to reaching a harmonized Safety Data Analysis Mechanism in the state of Qatar-Assisting SSP coordinator in all the SSP activities like documentation, surveys, audits plans etc.-Served as a Task Force Member for RSRP (Regulatory Structure Review Program) to align Qatar to EASA's regulations. (2016-17)
