Susan has been in business for over twenty-five years, including starting and managing startups in web technologies, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, software and publishing. Susan established Axxiem with a focus on improving communications in the biopharma space. Axxiem’s clients today include leading biopharma companies, CROs and non-profits such as: Aerpio Therapeutics, Imvax, Regeneron, Treventis, COUR Pharma, Eli Lilly and many others. Additionally, Axxiem's AxxiCARE program provides support to a number of non-profits including, ADAPP.org, usukraine.org, bcse.org etc.Prior to starting Axxiem, Susan established Nexion Publishing, joining with Time-Warner to publish Russian versions of Fortune and Popular Science magazines. Susan has also held positions as Vice President of Product Development and Customer Service at Skila Inc, a pharmaceutical software services company, and Vice President of Operations at Scott European Medical, representing Coherent, SpaceLabs Healthcare, Steris, and other firms in the East European markets.Susan has a B.A. from Michigan State University and a MPP from the University of Michigan, which leaves her on the fence during the annual football rivalry.
