AY Recruitment was setup by Acknowledging Youths CIC, a not-for-profit social enterprise dedicated to disadvantaged young people and adults giving them the opportunity to make real changes to their lives. Our goal is to help unemployed people to succeed in the working society. We create new partnerships and provide jobs, education and training, making sure companies have the right people with the right skills. We have already helped over 1000 young people since 2012, we also have over 3000 young people registered with AY Recuitment. The Acknowledging Youths CIC organization contributes to the lives of disadvantaged young people and adults. Although the number of young people not in work is falling, youth unemployment is still a major issue in London. Many of those finishing education, have poor basic skills and struggle to take the next step towards developing their career goals for the future. This organization helps many young people not only to find work, but to understand themselves, their personal skills and how to be true professionals in the work place and increasing their self-esteem and confidence. As part of our continuous development plan, we have set up a recruitment agency “AY Recruitment” to put in contact disadvantaged people looking for employment with companies looking for employees. The defining feature of our recruitment agency is that we will offer training in computer skills, building the perfect resume, preparation for jobs interviews and much more.
