About Ayal (Eyal) Amitai

In 2005 I took over as CEO of the family company my father set up in 1988. Increasing revenue by 9x and EBITDA by 10x. We now employ 1,300 employees in 6 different counties, with manufacturing facilities in China, Thailand & Israel.What started as an Electronic Contract Manufacturer evolved to a Medical Device Contract Design & Manufacturing Organisation in 2015-6. Serving some of the largest Medical OEMs, in their most high precision, complex Minimally Invasive products. In 2018 I successfully sold a majority stake to a Hong Kong based Private Equity firm.Since PE’s involvement I have executed a transformation strategy in which our family company evolved to meet the requirements of a sophisticated and demanding investor. This included a full refresh of mid-term business plan, upgrading governance, BD organisation and Operations Excellence.My experience and interests are particularly suited to:1. Family owner or private SME manufacturing companies looking to rapidly expand their business. 2. SME’s considering PE investment.
