I am the Founder of the Make A Play Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that prepares 1,000+ underrepresented athletes annually for executive careers in competitive industries. My work is grounded in more than 3 years as an Assistant Academic Counselor at Vanderbilt University, where I connected student-athletes across Vanderbilt's multiple sports teams to tailored career training programs. Before Vanderbilt, I worked in various sectors of the sports and entertainment industry, including, but not limited to, the Atlanta Hawks and Rolling Out Magazine.Both my academic and professional background includes work at the intersection of sports, entertainment, and law, building on my experience as a former student-athlete at Morehouse College and a current Professor at Long Island University's Roc Nation School of Music, Sports and Entertainment.
