Will be responsible for the developing the capacity of CSOs and local stakeholders to more effectively advocate for GBV prevention response. Design and provide comprehensive package of GBV advocacy activities that support the technical and institutional development of partners on ACF projects. • Provide technical support to the Country Program on all Protection Initiative, and work closely with area staff to ensure that protection is mainstreamed through DRC programs. Actively conduct t capacity-building.
• Led and coordinated general protection projects including, GBV, gender, and Community-Based Protection under UNHCR, Unicef, DANIDA, ECHO, SHF & OFDA currently called PHA in Somalia/Somaliland with tangible achievements.
• Ensured and followed up with key staff on using projects implementations tracking tools to analyze project BFUs and implementation status.
• Prepared projects key achievements, challenges, lessons learned, and key recommendations on protection projects, represented and participated in monthly quarterly, and annual donor meetings.
• Led and represented DRC Somalia/Somaliland in various forms, meetings and training including at all levels
• Conducted Protection mainstreaming, gender mainstreaming, GBV, and case management to both organization staff and cluster members at the area and country levels.

• I played a major role in strengthening DRC expanded programs in Somaliland/Somalia by providing expert advice and technical support to the country program. In addition, I was managing projects related to GBV prevention.
• CO-facilitated the WFP Gender Mainstreaming Trainings to WFP staff in South Central, Puntland, and Somaliland in 2018 and through reviewing the WFP Gender Policy to identify some of the gaps and come up with key.
• Prepared WFP Gender Mainstreaming Training key outcomes and presented it to WFP Regional Gender Focal Points.
• Standardized gender, GBV, and case management tools and guidelines and ensured the right tools are used by all.
• Strengthened participation and representation of cluster forms and other AOR working groups at country and regional levels.
• Organized PSEA training for both protection and non-protection staff in DRC to ensure PSEA zero tolerance at all levels.

• As Country GBV Capacity Building Officer. I was responsible for the implementation of the GBV activities focusing on the provision of training on the job/mentoring and regular monitoring of the quality of the GBV.
