As Manager –Projects, the following are the jobs and responsibilities I was entrusted with:- Selection/shortlisting of locations in Eastern India in consultation with the various business departments for network expansion in terms of branches, specialized branches, other offices, currency chests, ATM’s etc. This above included site visit and inspection and analysis vis-à-vis other locations/peer bank setups and cost-benefit factors. Charting out detailed plan and ensuring TAT for the entire project completion [case to case basis]. This included strict compliance to the laid guidelines, operational procedures, vendor management, interacting with local/government and other concerned authorities, timely interaction with different departments viz, HR, IT, Legal, Central Office Compliance, Retail and Business Banking, Credit, Retail Assets etc for setting up the unit in a cohesive manner.  Time to time interaction with Reserve Bank of India [RBI] for policies relating to network expansion, licenses and authorizations for the units. Ensuring and providing MIS on various parameters covering my purview of work, to the Central Office and the Zonal hub both at regular intervals and on requirement basis. Assisting the Department Head in achieving targets, ensuring smooth project completion.Further to the above I also participated in various workshops/trainings conducted by the bank for upgrading myself with the latest developments both on banking industry front and specifically to the work I was looking after.

Roles and responsibilities;-• Was attached to the Internal Audit Department and actively participated on structured and periodic Audits which included compliance audit, profitability audit, cost-benefit analysis productivity, wastage count etc of various gas filling stations, office units, plant manufacturing works across India and preparing the variances/reports for the management. The reports would highlight the Statutory and Compliances portion [for the Regulatory Authorities] and the production data on comparing the actuals vis-à-vis the set parameters [ previous years figures are also used for comparison and analysis]. Special emphasis were laid on scrutinizing loss on high value items, action taken on previous years comments etc • Audit and regular health check for other lines of business of BOC including the Plant Manufacturing Works [manufacturing the VITT AND VIST vessels], Ohmeda [medical equipments] and R&D unit.
