Facilitated a group of program support staff and volunteers to provide weekly educational support and physical activities for youth age 7-14. With the program, I supported youth by providing training, mentorship opportunities and public speaking skills in order to encourage youth to be advocates form themselves and be a mentor to others. Tracked and recorded program enrollment statistics, and generated a final report for managerial staff.

Worked collaboratively with a team of 3 to research grants and sponsorship opportunities to encourage stakeholders to donate to the Youth Restorative Action Project (YRAP). Key roles during this internship were to provide write formal sponsorship requests and to be extremely organized.

While working at REACH Edmonton I worked with a team of four youth coordinators to plan and oversee a summer program in 2017 and again in 2018 for high school students from a number of immigrant communities. As part of my work, I collaborated with a number of agencies that aim to achieve the various goals of the program. Along with the other youth coordinators, I also hired and mentored a team of youth leaders to supplement participant support and supervision.

Main role in the position entailed being a support staff for the Police Youth Engagement Project, which aims to provide a bridge with the Edmonton Police Service and ethnocultural communities. I was a trained mentor as well as public speaking and presentation building.
