Gainwell Commosales Private Limited (GCPL) is a partner of Caterpillar in India and operates out of East & North India and Bhutan. The company is a major supplier of Caterpillar Construction, Mining, Energy and Transmission sectors. Revenues of INR 3000 CR (+USD 400 million). Joined the company at a time when it was Tractors India Pvt. Ltd (TIPL), the Caterpillar division of the listed entity (Indian Stock Exchange), Tractors India Limited (TIL). Along with the Chairman/Managing Director (CMD), led the change management and eventual MBO of TIPL. The MBO was one of the biggest in Eastern India from a listed company, and the restructured entity was renamed Gainwell Commosales.Additional projects have included developing a Deputy CFO at GCPL; supporting the establishment of a manufacturing unit by obtaining manufacturing licence from CAT (CFO of the manufacturing unit will report to Group CFO); and supporting CMD with a JV operation wherein he controls 60% (through GCPL).

Anandabazar Patrika is an Indian Bengali-language daily newspaper with a circulation of +1 million copies. Led the Internal Audit and Management Accounting with additional responsibility for Budgeting. Led implementation of risk profile for Internal Audit and made it operational.

Varian, Inc. was one of the largest manufacturers of scientific instruments for the scientific industry. It was purchased by Agilent Technologies in May 2010 for $1.5 billion. Varian Inc. had its corporate headquarters in Palo Alto, California.Worked in the Netherlands leading factory accounting and costing for manufacturing setup (consolidation under INDAS and US GAAP). Was moved to India to set up branch operations (built this business from scratch to USD 40 million) and subsequently led the integration of India operations with Agilent Technologies. In this role, reported to the Head in the Netherlands and oversaw a team of 8 in India. This role involved close coordination with teams across the global operations of Varian, including regular visits to Paolo Alto, USA for yearly consolidation under US GAAP. Also led HR in this role, reporting to the Europe HR Head.

Vesuvius is a Global leader in molten metal flow engineering. In this role, a key achievement was leading the implementation of a Factory Costing Module set up and integrating this with the existing ERP system.

Post traineeship at ABB, transferred to Bangalore to set up accounting and costing operations for the factory production process within the Low-Voltage Switchgear Business Unit. Subsequently transferred to Kolkata and headed the accounting function of the unit.
