University of Zululand alumni,holding Bachelor of Consumer Science (Extension and Rural Development). I’ve done practicals in food processing/ food product development from my first year to my final year. In 2022 of which was my final year I did the research with community subsistence farmers about the surplus that I can improve its shelf life and it was sweet potatoes. I did research then I developed organic flour and biscuits from sweet potatoes this will be a healthy snack for kids as it’s sugar free and good source for iron deficiency and vitamin C.
