About Ayan Dey, Md, Ph.D.

I am currently, a senior resident physician in Psychiatry at the University of Toronto, and Chief Resident of the Clinician Scientist Program (CSP). I am primarily based out of Sunnybrook Hospital. In 2019, I completed my Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience at the Rotman Research Institute under the supervision of Dr. Brian Levine and Dr. Sandra Black. I have a background in functional neuroimaging and clinical neuropsychology through my doctoral work studying cognitive heterogeneity and cognitive rehabilitation interventions for adults with acquired brain injury.I aspire to become a clinician-investigator, with my research and clinical interests centering around the assessment and management of cognitive impairment and sleep disorders in the context of acquired brain injury and psychiatric disorders such as Treatment Resistant Depression (TRD).
