As DM (Engineering & Process), I have been entrusted with responsibilities, including:• Optimizing Surface Facilities: Review and optimization of wellhead surface facilities, flowlines, compressions associated plant and facilities projects. • Validating Project Proposals: Review project technical proposals and validating engineering and process requirements to ensure that projects are technically sound and align with GHPL goals.• Project Management: Monitor the progress of all ongoing projects, proactively identifying areas for improvement to prevent or minimize schedule and cost overruns. • Field Development Planning: Provide critical engineering and process feedback to determine the optimal scope and strategy for implementing field development plans. • Production Optimization: Monitor the ongoing operations of producing assets to identifyopportunities for production optimization and maximize the overall value generation.• Strategic Planning: Formulate surface facilities development schemes, including CAPEX/OPEX estimation for the evaluation of new ventures. • Commercial Agreement Review: Safeguard GHPL’s interests by meticulously reviewing the technical details of commercial agreements, including Gas Processing Agreements, Gas Sales Purchase Agreements and Condensate Sales Agreements

As an office based Process/Operations Engineer, I have held following responsibilities/assignments;•Act as Project Coordinator from POGC side to undertake Front End Engineering Design (FEED) for the augmentation and upgrade of existing Rehman Production Facility(RPF). The Consultant for FEED was M/s Jacobs, Abu Dhabi.•Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to initiate tendering of RPF EPCC project. Manage all the technical matters pertaining to tendering, bidding and award of EPCC contract from end user side.•Provision of process engineering support to respective Project Manager during engineering of Rental TEG based dehydration unit and MDEA based Sweetening unit.•Participation in design review and HAZOP sessions of rental unit and other development projects. Follow-up with concerned for effective closeout of the recommendation made therein. •Lead pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of rental sweetening unit from POGC side.In addition to above tasks, I am responsible for undertaking; •Development of proposal and provision of support to field team in implementation of modification(s) in existing facilities to handle changed operating conditions and improve overall process efficiency.•Process simulation activities to maximize the production potential of existing surface facilities while meeting the applicable gas product specifications.•Management of production data and generation of production and sales reports for internal and external stakeholders, JVP and the Regulatory Authorities.•Gather inputs from field team and prepare OPEX & CAPEX forecast (Budget) for internal and JVP approval.

As an office based Production Engineer, my core responsibilities included but not limited to;•Regular monitoring of the plant operating parameters and devising strategy to optimize the same in order to get optimum production based on prevailing market dynamics.•Provide necessary support to execute in-house projects by preparing project conceptual proposal, economics, P&IDs, PFDs, isometrics, purchase requisitions, scope of works and coordination of activities during the execution phase. •Furnish technical input, review and provision of comments with respect to various in-house as well as development projects in evaluation of bids and finalization of technical design. Recommendation / planning of debottlenecking, up-gradation, and revamping activities at the current production facilities.•Assistance in correspondence with the Joint Venture (JV) partners, SNGPL, ARL, vendors, contractors, etc with respect to technical and or commercial issues at hand.•Assist in preparation, monitoring and control of Production OPEX & CAPEX budgets, preparation of specifications and inquiries on technical documents, studies and reports related to field operations. •Compilation of Monthly gas, crude, condensate production and sales data for subsequent submission to internal and external stakeholders for reporting purposes as per their requirement.•Provide surface facilities related techno-fiscal inputs to cross functional working group of MOL Pakistan to establish prospects of future working interest being evaluated.•Coordinate implementation of PSM elements like cyclic PHA for production facilities and management of change (MOC) for all relevant changes at production facilities.

Manzalai Central Processing Facility, Karak District, Pakistan

Working as Process Shift In-charge at the one of the largest oil & gas processing complex of Pakistan, I was responsible to ;•Ensure safe operations of processing plants and utilities with mandatory adherence to MOL safe work practices. Manage non-routine operations (start-ups and shutdowns) in line with SOPs in place.•Development and modification of process simulation models using HYSYS for day to day process optimization.•Review and perform PHA of MOL Production facilities. Devising strategy in liaison with concerned discipline engineers for effective implementation of PHA recommendations. •Review FEED studies for upcoming and ongoing projects to ensure all ITB requirements of MOL are met and highlight design improvements for safe and well controlled operations.•Review PFDs, P&IDs, Cause & Effect matrices, process alarms and tripping set points for ongoing/upcoming projects and recommend modifications where required.•Ensure all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities at MGPF are carried out safely as per approved Commissioning plan. Develop pre-startup checklists and SOPs for Process and Utility area of MGPF while considering OEM recommendations/guidelines.•Preparation of Pre-startup safety review (PSSR) of MGPF and follow-up for closure of action items raised during PSSR. Liaise with EPCC contractor for planning and execution of post startup modifications.•Preparation of daily and monthly production reports as per prevailing format.

Kandhkot Gas Field, Sindh, Pakistan

Working as member of Commissioning team and Shift In-charge KFGCS, my key responsibilities were; •Commissioning of Turbo Compressors and Gas Gensets under the supervision of OEM. •Configuration of station control system (DCS), implementation and testing of station Cause and Effect matrix.•To ensure that all the station operational activities, start-ups and shutdowns are carried out safely as per the SOPs. Handling of Station operational emergency situations and normalization afterwards.•Monitoring of station operational parameters and take-up quick corrective measures in case of any deviations. •Ensure and arrange for safe working conditions on equipment(s) with permit to work system for hand-over to maintenance activities. •Preparation of daily and monthly production reports.
