Throughout the years as an accomplished instructor and a leader, I have gained invaluable experience in several core competencies and duties: associate director, curriculum committee head, level coordinator, course leader, academic director, program developer and teacher trainer. I am an educator who thinks positively about people, understands their individual values, beliefs, and priorities, embraces differences and respects diversity. As an ESL teacher, I believe in student-centered learning approaches through the accomplishment of collaborative learning, social constructivism, task-based learning, discovery learning, and communicative language teaching. I hold strong communication skills by bonding with colleagues and students and showing empathy through active listening. I have demonstrated the ability to teach, motivate, and guide students while maintaining high interest and achievement. As an administrator, I believe in the principles of appreciate inquiry (the study and exploration of what gives life to human systems when they function at their best) and the art of asking the right questions along with effective communication to achieve both personal change and organizational change.
