"To dare to dream is to dare to live."I am a high school student fueled by curiosity and a desire to explore our world. I love traveling anywhere, but specifically to the beach. Through cruises and flying, I have been able to enjoy discovering the world, from the white, sandy beaches of the Caribbean to ancient Mayan Ruins to the bustling cities of Kuala Lumpur. Each destination holds a unique story, and I have learned that every place, every culture, and every sunset holds an experience waiting to be discovered.My explorations extend beyond physical landscapes. Books have always been a passion of mine—whether it be immersing myself in the world of Harry Potter, the battlegrounds of WWII, or learning about finance. One of my favorite quotes I relate to is from George R. R. Martin: "A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only once." My love for reading fuels my imagination and makes me a lifelong learner.As a student, I love to study chemistry, psychology, philosophy, and history. In the IB program, we learn to write thoughtfully and to think with other perspectives. My passion for learning drives my dreams. As a musician, I believe music is a universal language that inexplicably ties all of humanity—no matter where you're from, what language you speak, or your beliefs. Having played piano for over a decade and playing in bands and orchestras, music has brought me lifelong friends and memorable experiences. Being a leader is not just about having a fancy title—but about sacrifice. Embracing servant leadership, I have sacrificed countless hours and effort to manage organizations like the Junior World Affairs Council and actively advocate through the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum. I am an advocate for education and human rights. History reminds us of the tough lessons humanity faced, urging us to stand up for the rights of all living beings and against injustice. I have championed causes for human rights, raised global awareness at my school, and engaged in meaningful learning experiences.
