Promoting Tolerance And Respect For Diversity Intern
Bangkok, Bangkok City, Thailand
During my time at UNDP, I played a pivotal role in the launch of three significant research projects aimed at addressing critical social issues in Thailand. This included the initiation and coordination of a Public Perception Survey on Social Cohesion and Resilience to Violent Extremism, the development of a Handbook on Promoting Human Security Approach to the Prevention of Violent Extremism, and the execution of a Study on Gender Dynamics and Hate and Violence. In addition to research and data analysis, I was actively involved in documentation, report preparation, and translation tasks, where I prepared and edited various written materials such as proposals, invitation letters, and report summaries while also translating documents, including agendas, social media posts, and survey questions. Furthermore, I provided coordination and event support for key initiatives, such as the MOU Signing Ceremony at MSDHS where I assisted in translating for the UNDP Regional Representative, participated in discussions on security during the Security Dialogue Program organized by NSC, and assisted in coordinating the Photo Essay Contest. Notably, I served as a focal point for the Human Security Project, facilitating communication and coordination between UNODC, NSC, and UNDP to finalize PR materials and handbook publications, showcasing my strong organizational and coordination skills in a collaborative environment.
