I am Endurance Moses, a physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. I am passionate about promoting health and wellness, facilitating development, and restoring function through rehabilitation therapy.I bring a diverse range of experiences to the field. As a physiotherapist and special education teacher at Dewdrops Community Center for Special Needs, I designed and implemented tailored programs for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. At the Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe, I provided orthopedic and stroke rehabilitation services to patients. Additionally, I had the privilege of leading a team of medical professionals to establish a mini clinic in a low-income community in Gombe State, offering access to medications, consultations, laboratory services, and health awareness programs.I am currently seeking new opportunities to apply my skills in physiotherapy, and health promotion while continuing to grow and collaborate with professionals who share my dedication to impactful work. Dewdrops Community Centre for Special Needs is a registered non-profit NGO that caters for a targeted population of low income earning families through donations by individuals and corporate bodies. The centre is designed to provide Special Education Needs intervention services. At this centre, trained and certified specialists together with other professionals, using a multidisciplinary approach, conduct early intervention programs for pre-school and school aged children with Autism and related developmental disabilities such as down syndrome, cerbral palsy, as an important element of current special education. My responsibilities include; • designing programs for children with special needs and performing functions which range from personal care to executing instructional programs• assisting in collection of data for the purpose of evaluating the children's progress and ensuring objectives and goals are achieved.

The Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe (FTHG) is located within the city of Gombe, the capital of Gombe State. The hospital has a 300-bed capacity and was established in 1996 by the Federal Government. There are eleven (11) main wards in the hospital. The various clinical departments run specialist and sub-specialist clinics from Monday to Friday. Emergencies are attended to daily on a 24 hour basis through the Accident & Emergency Unit [A & E]. Overall outpatient attendance is about 1750 patients per week. Physiotherapy services offered by the physiotherapy department are the treatment and management of disease conditions, physical dysfunction or injury by the use of physical or chemical modalities and therapeutic exercises intended to restore and facilitate normal or as near normal function and development. I did my internship and National Youth Service (NYSC) as a physiotherapist at Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe. During this time I ;• managed several cases such as joint pain, arthritis, sports injury, stroke, cerebral palsy.• evaluated referrals and patients medical records to formulate an accurate diagnoses and best course of treatment.• assisted patients with physical therapy to help restore functions and lessen pain/disability. I was also given leadership roles as the chief intern and then the president of health and medical aids group.
