 The main purpose of this job is to significantly enhance (and later maintain) the standards of teaching & learning and physical infrastructure within a given set of schools. To work with Academic Head of School Group to put together and oversee a Development Plan (T&L) for the School Group aimed at achieving specific teaching and learning objectives. To put together and oversee the implementation of a Development Plan (PI) for the School Group aimed at making specific improvement to the physical infrastructural environment of the school. To maintain quality standards in all of the schools in the teaching and learning environment (curriculum implementation, monitoring and support, mainstreaming of education technology across the curriculum, need-based training, English-Language proficiency of teachers, supporting future initiatives such as special education needs, integrated curricula, etc.) school physical environment/ infrastructure, information technology infrastructure etc. To ensure that an effective team is in place at the School Group Office and that key people like Academic Head, Curriculum Coordinators, and others understand the requirements of their role and are able to deliver in order to provide maximum support to the schools. To maintain the quality of Teachers in the School Group and ensure that all Teachers are trained according to the standards established by the Academics Department at the Head Office. To ensure consistency of quality standards across the School Group. To establish student body growth objectives for schools in collaboration with the Regional Office, and to work towards the achievement of such objectives through regular coordination and collaboration with all Heads in the School Group. To work with Corporate Communications departments to collaboratively devise strategies that aim to provide optimal marketing support to the SGO.
