Acting Unit Manager – Community Health and Innovation (Nov2014 – Sep2015):- Led a team of 15+ (staff and consultants) in managing global community health, first aid, reproductive, mother, newborn, child and adolescent health (RMNCAH), blood, noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), innovation and research. - Managed the key requirements of unit management in human resources recruitment, staff development, budgeting, reporting, communication, strategic planning, vision development and partnership. - Led the development of evolving the community-based health and first aid (CBHFA+) approach 2016-2020. Community Health and Noncommunicable diseases (July 2010 - May2016) - Led a team of 10+ members (mainly consultants) in managing global community health, noncommunicable diseases and healthy ageing programs. - Coordinated the development of community-based health and first aid approach, training, management and monitoring & evaluation tools to support program implementation in 100+ countries with over 33,000 volunteers empowering multi-million people every year to enjoy better health.- Initiated and led the development of the healthy lifestyle / noncommunicable diseases global program at IFRC Geneva and developed strategies and tools to implement NCDs prevention and control programs. By the December 2015 over 65 countries were implementation NCDs programs. In November 2014 IFRC received the google research award for its innovative online healthy lifestyle community tools. - Managed the development of innovative online healthy lifestyle community, tools for children and youth, healthy lifestyle at workplace (HL@W) and initiated the global coordination to develop healthy ageing tools.- Initiated, developed and managed strategic partnerships with several Red Cross, corporate sector and academic partners and managed multi-million dollar/multi-year budgets.
