About Ahmet Yilmaz

Born in Amasya/Turkey, Ahmet Yılmaz completed his studies in Germany in the field of economics. Since 1991 Ahmet Yılmaz is active in the automotive industry. In 1992 he founded EXTIM GmbH - Automotive Supplier and Consulting Company. He consults OEM's as well as Tier-1 companies, institutions and government agencies. Parallel to his core activities in his function as Managing Partner of EXTIM GmbH he is Senior Advisor for Turkish Machinery in Germany and Senior International Export in Supplier Development Projects of UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Programme). In 2002 he published a book in Turkish language with the title "Procurement Strategies in the Automotive Industry". Ahmet Yılmaz regularly writes articles for the Turkish, German and English trade press.
