As Founder of Ampuz, Ayla has used her background in sustainability to fuse the worlds of tech and sustainability to create a solution that help organizations measure and report on their impact. She assists companies, universities, charities execute best practice in line with their values, impact areas, national priorities while minimizing their reputation risk and legal liabilities. In her role as Senior Adviser, Ayla drove the Global Compact agenda in the UAE with a multi-stakeholder approach; among which engaging businesses, universities and government entities to adopt and integrate UN principles and platforms into their organizations strategies. In Ayla's capacity of Head of Sustainability at the Chalhoub Group, she grew it from a single position in the corporate communications department to establishing it as an independent department with a fantastic team situated under Chalhoub's Strategy unit. Ayla is an active board member of the Global Compact Local Network, focusing on the development and activation of the diversity and inclusion value proposition.
