CurrentPhones* answering incoming calls ranging from questions and issues concerning nursery plants, pond supplies, inventory questions, & making purchases over the phone Cashier * Using the Counterpoint Retail Management system software to help customers with their transactions, print inventory labels, new product inventory items and pricing, manage cash flow and daily deposit registers, generating quotes & installation orders, add retail and wholesale customer accounts, re-stock inventory, house-cleaning chores (floors, windows, bathroom)* Inventory: restocking shelves, merchandising, assist in creating seasonal store displays* Train new employees on the Counterpoint software, inventory, company culture, & using a walkie to communicate to be a liaison between customers and staff.* Created unique retail displays and products in the Aquatics shop while incorporating elements from other departments to increase sales options* Cross trained across 3 stations, the Gift Shop, Pro/Aquatics shop, & the Kiosk outdoor registerProduct Knowledge * Responsible for learning pond & water feature supplies, equipment, and treatments to be able to resolve customer issues* Staying up to date on information regarding plant ID & care, & all inventory productsHelp when needed* With the design team to unpack, arrange, price, and display merchandise, statuary, & pottery* Catching koi & goldfish in the Fish Facility* Nursery unloading, organizing, tagging, and staging of plants at delivery* Pro-Shop to help with merchandising & indoor inventory, building indoor patio ponds & tabletop water features, helping the manager with inventory deliveries, receiving, stocking or back-stocking, as well as pump testing & water quality testing for customer ponds and features* General help assisting customer load-outs throughout the day & occasional small after-hours delivery to customer homes
