Site Engineering SPECs Reengineering: Improve and convert the radio access network sites specs to be robust, smart & intelligent by which durability/cost effectiveness achieved. Managing RAN Budget: Managing Vodafone Egypt Network Radio & Deployment CAPEX & OPEX budget - 1.5 billion EGP CAPEX & 175 M OPEX - in alignment with all VFE expansion priorities & plans, develop, control & review all budget planning cycles in coordination with all internal/external stakeholders.Long-Term contractual agreement: Converting all short-term supplies agreements into long-term contractual agreements for 2-3 years based on the organization's deployment strategy by which improving the backward value chain achieving 30-40% CAPEX savings and material availability.

Function Objective: Capitalizing on VFE strategic objective of having customer obsession culture, VFE decided to give me an opportunity to develop a team whose mission is to assure that we deliver our promises to our Internal & External technology customers’ in most efficient ways, 5 domains were mainly targeted.IT Infrastructure & Service Assurance Domain: this domain is mainly focusing on assuring the service/infrastructure like - “collection, Seibel, e- top-up, fraud management, DSL connectivity to VFE stores,..etc“ - which is provided to the IT internal/external customers’ like “retail, customer care, dealers, etc “- are being performed in a shape that satisfies customers, this is being managed through in coordination with the responsible departments through monitoring set of KPIs, survey customer feedback through face to face discussion and anonymous surveys.Products & Services Assurance Domain: this domain is mainly focusing on assuring that all products & services/promos which is provided by VFE to their end customers are performed exactly as what was promised. Based on the criticality of the provided services, set of KPIs were developed to monitor each service/product in coordination with different concerned departments, regular monitoring for the KPIs were performed to maintain best service ever,Network Deployment Strategy E2E Service Assurance Domain: this domain is focusing on the quality of the activated sites from the revenue portfolio and complaints points of views, this domain assure that the newly activated sites are built in a prioritized set of KPIs which assure highest ROI and minimizes the customer’s complaints flow, we also monitor the drive tests and gather all complaint from different parties, drive tests results, retail customer surveys and commercial prioritization for specific areas into a one consolidated DB for driving our deployment strategy.Customer Complaints Management E2E Service Assurance

Build and Lead field operations team consisting of 160 employees, and responsible for 5 major units, Field Operations, Transmission Operations, Power Operations, Field Services & Acceptance and Spare parts Management:Field Operations: Managing all the field operations activities distributed all over Egypt, in 5 main regional offices covering whole Egypt, responsible for maintaining the Field Radio & Transmission Networks to achieve excellent Mean Time To Restore and network availability based on a proper sites’ classifications, proper preventive maintenance activities and corrective maintenance activities for the RDAIO & CIVIL part of the network.Transmission Operations: Managing all the Transmission operations activities for the core network elements including all the SDH & ADM connectivity, expansions, preventative maintenance & corrective maintenance, introducing any access and core networks nodes by which we can meet the network expansions plans.Power Operations: Responsible for the O&M service for all DC power systems nodes installed in all switches, HUB sites, and normal sites, also managing the in house team who developed the generators overhauling activities which is being done by our local team, impose some creative ideas led to a 20% savings in the operation’s OPEX.Acceptance & Field Services: Managing & responsible for accepting all the new sites’ installed by Ericsson or In-House Installation team according to the global standards, and performing all the related section’s analysis, Performance auditing, investigating the major section’s technical problems and discuss it with the vendors till reaching proper effective solutions, which will improve the results.Spare Parts Management: this function is responsible for dimensioning & managing the radio and transmission spare parts of different vendors starting by dimension the demanded spare parts crossing the purchasing of the needed spare parts ending by swap/repair for the faulty parts
