Since 2014, I haveshared responsibility for operating instrumentation costing 100M$Extensive modeling/optimization of nuclear instrumentation. Analyzed results in integrated/standardanalysis environment for nuclear physics. Analyzed very large data sets on computer farms and ex-tracted weak signals. Applied tools for neural network and other AI methods in multivariate opti-mization and signal extraction. Worked with phenomenological models for data comparisons.

The primary physics task of STAR is to study the formation and characteristics of the quark-gluon plasma (QGP), a state of matter believed to exist at sufficiently high energy densities. As a member of STAR, I worked on a wide range of data analyses leading to more than 70 scientific publications in peer reviewed journals.

PhD research was conducted at Brookhaven National Laboratory. I used the SiliconPiXeL detector (PXL) of the Heavy Flavor Tracker (HFT) of the STAR experiment whichuses thin Monolithic Active Pixel Sensors (MAPS) technology and electronics readout in acollider environment.
