As a Student Assistant in the Information Systems Department (ISD) of Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI), my main responsibility was to assist the IT professionals of the Systems Support team with day-to-day IT tasks and various IT projects.  Some examples included:• Imaging computers, by deploying the devices to security guards to ensure the safety of use.• Encrypting hard drives, so when the IT professionals used their devices, the information stored on them would be secure and safe from hacking, phishing, or other privacy risks. • Installing and troubleshooting PC software/hardware. One example involved the removal of RAM and hard drives from retired desktops and laptops to put into other desktops which were used for disaster recovery as a service (DRAAS). • IT inventory auditing, which involved creating tickets for items which were unneeded, and being responsible to ensure those machines/devices were picked up. I also updated a website regarding the stock level of the inventory room, so management would be aware of what needed to be ordered. • End-user support, which included using remote desktop software to install software or programs which were needed by the user. This position helps prepare college students for entry into the IT world by providing a hands-on experience in an IT department of a highly-respected applied research and development organization.

Used leadership skills to enforce the rules of soccer in each match I was responsible for.I refereed approximately five to ten matches a month and was available from September until May.Used communication and collaborative skills with crew members to ensure success for each match.I had to follow the play to ensure rules were not being broken and player safety was not at risk, which required concentration for extended periods of time.Involved in games which were from eighty to ninety minutes long, and usually was assigned two ormore games in a row.
