Being the technical lead in a JV startup company involves many responsibilities, among which I have focused on: 1) Establishing and maintaining a strategic collaboration network with key clients and leading robotic technology developers around the world to support business development.* Identifying key advancement in robotic inspection technology and evaluating local market needs and technology trends.* Establish communication and build the relationship with potential collaborators. * Managing clients requests by discussing their needs and presenting potential solutions all the way through pilot technology deployment and field testing.2) Product management and commercial product development of SAIR (Saudi Aramco Inspection Robot), a robotic crawlers for visual and ultrasonic inspection of steel erosion.* Develop, refine, and maintain full technical documentation, operation & maintenance manuals, and production procedure. * Oversaw the identification and development of new features and functionalities in the robot. * Developed the business case and technology outlook of SAIR.* Launched the pilot deployment phase with an intensive 3 days hands on training session, followed by a successful field test. * Identified technology gaps and developed the plan for SAIR productization.* Lead cross-functional teams of engineers and developers to design, develop, and update the user interface front-end application, with hands on testing and validation.

Lead the technology transfer of SAIR (Saudi Aramco Inspection Robot), working in close collaboration the Saudi Aramco R&D team. * Developed the technical scope and objectives for the technology transfer project. * Designed data visualization tools for analysis and validation of measurement algorithms.* Involved in electrical and embedded systems debugging analysis and user interface design.* Developed plans and acceptance criteria for technology field testing and evaluation.

– Developed novel dynamic model for membrane distillation water desalination system.– Optimized the energy efficiency of the membrane distillation process.– Developed new algorithm for system monitoring and parameter estimation.– 2 patent submissions for process control and soft sensing.
