I was promoted to Senior Experienced after hard work and well-deserved recognition. I had the opportunity to work on-site at EY Luxembourg for three months, within the "Private Assets" department in the "Real Estate" sector. This opportunity significantly expanded my professional network and contacts. We worked on various funds, including those eligible for IFRS and others under LuxGAAP, all while adhering to ISA standards during audits.Working at EY Luxembourg was an enriching experience, especially in the real estate sector as a senior professional. It was my first foray into this field, and I am pleased with the results. I took the initiative to familiarize myself with the specificities of the sector to be more effective in my role, spending time reading and understanding the relevant standards, regulations, and best practices.The experience was highly beneficial, as I acquired invaluable new skills and perspectives that have greatly contributed to my career growth. Additionally, working in another country broadened my understanding of international markets and significantly expanded my professional network through diverse collaborations.Given EY's emphasis on global expertise and professional growth, my time there was extremely rewarding. Additionally, I also worked on audit missions in Tunisia, further broadening my experience and skills.

I transitioned to a new firm as a Senior 1, and as you know, stepping out of one's comfort zone teaches many valuable lessons. At EY Tunisia, I had the opportunity to work in sectors I hadn't previously explored, such as the hospitality and education sectors. There were several new tools I needed to master, so I dedicated my extra time to improving my skills and staying updated with the latest developments.I also had the chance to work on a special mission, examining the proper application of IFRS standards for a group, in collaboration with EY France. This experience significantly broadened my expertise and allowed me to develop new competencies.

Additionally, I collaborated closely with the team on various critical activities, including closing procedures, adjustment statements, general reporting, and the preparation of financial statements. My responsibilities also extended to providing the management letter and offering recommendations to enhance the internal control system, ensuring robust and effective financial oversight.
