I lead the pre-contracts team and am responsible for managing tenders, establishing resources required to execute works, and delivering the projects. I am also responsible for the following tasks and duties:• Leading business development initiatives• Building the startup's capacity for the New Zealand division• Managing customer relations to ensure satisfaction whilst continuing engagement with the company• Overseeing, resourcing, managing, and monitoring the performance of the company’s Water New Zealand projects • Identifying and mitigating potential project risks on numerous projects to increase customer satisfaction whiles reducing overall costs• Evaluating employee’s performance and job goal matching• Ensuring safety and low-incident risk through a culture of safety excellence and sustainability• Maintaining control over budget forecasting, cost control, and expectations for the financial performance of projectsKey Achievements:• Awarded three projects within a span of six weeks. Following this, I created subsequent project teams consisting of project managers, engineers, supervisors, operations, and labourers for the successful completion of these projects.• Awarded the first contract for a treatment plant project for Monadelphous. • Led the Pre-Contracts team through competitive tender, negotiations, and contract award.• Deployed project team to execute the project and oversee the project deliverables successfully.• Completed several tender submissions, which involved project management from launch to completion of the projects.

I was promoted to this position when Monadelphous acquired the Water Infrastructure Group. My role focused on irrigation infrastructure opportunities. These included:• Identifying opportunities for strategic growth with large irrigation infrastructure projects• Overseeing four direct reports for infrastructure development• Managing design resources and allocating them to appropriate projectsKey Achievement:• Completed a successful tender submission and was award $11 million for the completion of stage 2 of the Barhill Chertsey Irrigation Scheme State 2 project.

I assumed the role when Water Infrastructure Group started operations in New Zealand. In addition to being responsible for design engineer direct reports, I was responsible for the following:• Leading design teams to capitalise on irrigation infrastructure design and construct opportunities• Managing design and engineering team • Preparing estimates for bids and value engineering• Managing client relations• Negotiating contractsKey Achievement:• Completing successful tender submissions including an $88-million project with Ashburton Lyndhurst Irrigation Scheme Stage 2

I was promoted to this position as a result of the company’s rapid growth. My primary responsibility here was to capitalise on project opportunities across multiple market sectors including infrastructure, dairy processing, food and beverage, oil and gas, and mining and infrastructure markets. I was also responsible for building positive relationships with clients and stakeholders that were a precise fit for the company's products and services.
