•Identified continuous risk reduction activities and resolved technical integrity issues as a start-up process engineer in the Gas & Condensate Terminal Shah Deniz 2 (SD2) project. •Integrated dynamic commissioning requirements into the project start-up. Resolved technical engineering issues and completed performance tests for the condensate processing and produced-water treatment systems.•Led MEG regeneration system start-up. Resolved control logic and fixed control valves sizing issues. Prepared end to end procedures, led the operations set-up, completed deliverables. •Led project to resolve high water content issues in the oil stabilization and dehydration plant. Technical issues included significant increase in crude oil heaters duties, heater tube pass blockages, electrostatic coalescer underperforming. Developed an action plan to improve the water separation and chemical cleaning of crude oil heaters. Designed process flow, led risk assessment, performed process calculation, and provided relief design for the overpressure scenario. •Monitored health of process equipment and investigated SDL/SOL excursions. Analyzed process and process safety KPIs, identified production vulnerabilities and optimization opportunities to support production forecast.

• Designed flow assurance model for the offshore gas and condensate plant. Documented flow assurance procedures, including wax management, erosion management, corrosion management and management of hydration risk.• Maintained system safety and optimized chemicals requirements on UMID platform. Calculated optimal methanol consumption as an inhibitor for hydrate formation which reduced methanol inventory usage by 228 tons per year and minimized transport expenses.• Designed new methanol storage tank for offshore platform which helped to reduce offshore trips for methanol tanker by 2x and reduced transportation costs by 100,000 per year.• Selected and implemented proper wax inhibitors to the process systems by remodeling wax deposition risk model. Performed laboratories analysis to identify accurate pour point depressant with optimized dose rates. Achieved stable process flow and reduced amount of mechanical removal procedures. Reduced costs by USD 10k per month for extra chemical usages and avoided unnecessary man hours.• Organized process monitoring, maintained and enhanced regulatory controls, implemented advanced controls with automation application that contributed to safety, reliability, and profitability of operations.• Generated and evaluated technical forecast for gas and condensate productions. Developed action plans for the full productions and process systems to eliminate production vulnerabilities. • Ensured documentation, process maps, system functionality and compliance requirements are up to date. Designed, drafted, and modified PID and PFD of the existing and proposed process plant.
