Our organization is dedicated to equipping undergraduate students with the fundamental skills needed to thrive in their pre-health professional studies. Through our bi-weekly meetings, we delve into invaluable information essential for success in any chosen path. We offer dynamic study groups for challenging science courses, provide volunteer, internship, and research opportunities, and facilitate a range of engaging activities aimed at enhancing medical competency. Among these activities are hands-on CPR certification sessions, access to MCAT prep materials, and innovative use of virtual reality tools for mastering intricate sciences such as anatomy.

Responsible for making sure everything ran smoothly, keeping the owner and general manager updated on sales. I am in charge of counting and balancing the tills, calculating tips, and writing the nightly deposit, etc. I communicate effectively with coworkers ranging from 16-40+ to ensure that tasks are completed in the most efficient manner. I am also responsible for handling any problem that a costumer may have with our product or service.

I was originally hired as a Back of House assistant, yet because of my positive attitude and excitement to learn, the head chef nominated me to be trained as a cook. After a few weeks of shadowing, I was placed in charge of cooking the entire menu and ensuring the kitchen was stocked and in great condition. I was trusted with closing the kitchen by myself with only about a month of experience under my belt.

Officiated youth basketball games by making calls. Maintained order on and off the court through communication with coaches, the officials table, and occasionally parents.
