Duties include planning, design and administration of VMware and Red Hat Linux-based server installations and maintenance of the base operating systems as well as providing technical support and problem resolution.Providing day to day system administration support including usage monitoring e.g. load balancer and vCenter, security administration e.g SELinux, TCP Wrappers and IPTables. Applying patch management and system configuration update using puppet and Foreman, also provide recommendations to management on system enhancement.Work with technical, operational, and functional areas to answer question, resolve problems and identify opportunity for efficiency gains and also provide on-call support.

Enforce radio protocol,Track radio users Provide communication assistance, this include passing a message on, locating a user, or answering a question on the status of an issue or incident. Log and track all issues to ensure a complete audit trail of issue and response. Perform operational issue tracking, management and resolution; this includes the provision of communication and issue tracking support for incident and emergency response, as necessary.Participate in team meetings and provide communication related updates Communicate operational updates to d members of the village team, including all functional areas as necessary, via cell phone, text messages, e-mail and radio announcements. Support Village management in gathering, managing, and forwarding relevant information to Village leadership and the Main Operation Centre at headquarters when required.Collect reports and distribute as requested by the Village Manager and other defined protocols. Monitor radio channels, Provide communication and issue tracking support for incident and emergency response, as necessary.

Duties include setting up and maintaining user account, maintaining system, verify that peripheral are working properly, repair of hard failure, monitor system performance, create file systems, installation, configuration and maintenance of servers, e.g. Apache, DNS, DHCP, FTP, NFS, MYSQL, HTTP, HTTPS etc.
