My achievements in last 17 years of entire engineering experience are partly listed: Performed computational fluid dynamics (CFD) studies of heat transfer fluid (HTF) flow from storage to pumps; and cooling air flow simulation, using ANSYS SpaceClaim and Fluent. Analysed buckling of suction strainers in service, thereby improving uptime. Led the daily safety (toolbox) meetings, developed Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) for the teams, and entered engineering maintenance reports into the CMMS.Completed replacement of cracked propane compressor 36-inch discharge piping, within scheduled plant turnaround, which delivered USD 2.5 million savings per day. Completed engineering reviews, proffered alternative material to cracked packing housing of regeneration gas compressor due to spare unavailability, with $250k savings realised.
