My 15+ years working experience in development has so far brought my skills in project conceptualization, design and implementation, capacity building and project management to the fore.One highlight of my career was the implementation of programs for EU MPP3 on Capacity building and sensitization of rural communities on infrastructural/non-infrastructural project implementation in 2005; facilitating the evaluation of the Chevron GMoU, data analysis and field report as well as implementation of a 3 year development plan for Itsekiri and Ilaje Regional Development Committee/Council, Participatory Rural Appraisal, PIND's Economic Empowerment Program for women across the Nine Niger Delta States, are other highlights of my career.I also engaged in a Cassava Value Chain Analysis Project with Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND) in 2011, which brought about an in-depth study of Cassava, its components and actors which include: Domestic cassava production (farmers), Processors, Input Suppliers, and Marketers (traders). The study revealed cassava's market potential based on the growing demand that requires more effort in improved production to meet the huge export market.It is worthy of note that the Marine Services Value Chain Analysis Study I participated in at some point in 2012, helped identify the key players or actors in this field as well as the challenges experienced in this sector, with a view to building their capacity; allowing them compete favorably with international counterparts, thereby fostering Nigeria's quest for local content engagement.Meeting new people an making new friends is something I enjoy doing. At my free time, I enjoy reading, swimming and traveling.
