l lead the strategic efforts of CBV in partnering with organizations and institutions to support BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) leaders. I primarily focus will be on building and sustaining inclusive work environments where teams achieve greater success through collaboration rather than isolation. This role demands a visionary leader with a deep commitment to racial equity, along with expertise in program management and leadership development.

Black Male Educators Talk (BMEsTalk) is a national initiative committed to the retention, leadership development and recruitment of Black Male Educators. BMEsTalk fosters the personal development, professional growth and economic mobility of Black men working across the education sector.I am responsible for the strategic oversight and execution of BMEsTalk, a charitable initiative under CommunityBuild Ventures (CBV). This role seamlessly integrates high-level strategic planning with direct program involvement, ensuring that all aspects—from content development to facilitation and training—are closely aligned with CBV’s mission and goals. I act as a key leader, steering the initiative’s strategic direction, guiding program implementation, training facilitators, and ensuring that participants consistently receive high-quality, impactful learning experiences.

- Developed racial equity competencies, curriculum and a series of learning journeys for philanthropic and nonprofit leadership teams based in Atlanta and beyond.- Developed a peer advisory group strategy for City Year - DC to assist men of color within their network to enhance belonging, prioritize personal wellness, and engage in leadership skill building.- Facilitated a peer advisory group to assist a local charter school with retaining Black Male Educators. - Provided thought leadership to Georgia Power Foundation’s Teachers for Georgia Initiative, which was focused on building a blueprint for 3-year strategy to recruit and retain Black male educators
