• Engineering and production of outer membrane vesicles (OMV) as vaccine platforms for treating cancers and infectious diseases by displaying antigens (such as proteins and polysaccharides) on their surface. • Testing OMV vaccines in relevant mice models (by immunizing relevant mice strains with different formulations and challenges with disease-causing agents) to determine protective efficacy against diseases. • Mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in bacterial and mammalian cell culture, OMV production and engineering, cloning, and immunoassays (western and dot blots) to ensure adequate preparedness for research projects.

• Communicate with about 130 undergraduate students in the Ryan Scholar program to ensure access to resources needed for success in engineering degrees.• Create and organize events to provide support and useful information to Ryan Scholar students to aid their growth and development as future engineers.

• Communicate with the general PSSP body across the Cornell campus to ensure appropriate schedule coordination for students. • Schedule and organize rooms for student classes and events. • Facilitate and assist with mentoring and guiding incoming freshman students through a summer program.

• Worked with clinical research data to determine the correlation of frailty to lymphocyte cell counts in patients living with HIV.• Used data analysis software STATA for different correlation tests such as Pearson correlation tests, T-tests, and Wilcoxon rank sum tests.• Shadowed medical doctors while attending to patients and working through case studies of different patients to determine appropriate treatment regimens.• Observed autopsy analysis of brain specimens from patients to determine neurological changes that may have predictor effects on the cause of death.

• Developing assays for early adopter of proprietary biomedical instrumentation and other company customers • Analyzing samples on commercial and company flow cytometers to compare the company’s flow cytometer’s sensitivity to fluorescence change • Analyzing cell-based assay specific to the companies’ instrument to show detection of cells and associated fluorophores on the company’s instrument • Preparing 2D cell samples (cell lines mentioned above) and 3D cell models, in our case spheroids (cell lines employed for these are M1, MR1, DLD-1 S9, DLD-1-B9) prepared through a combination of liquid overlay and spinner flask technique for analysis on company’s instrument to show detection and differentiation of each cell model type. • Analyzing samples on commercial and company flow cytometers to compare the company’s flow cytometer’s sensitivity to fluorescence change • Analyzing data collected from Tk1 Cell line immune assay, Daily Performance Tests, Spheroid assays, Cell line assays runs on company instrument using FCS Express 7 to show statistics of data and better presentation of data collected on company’s instrument • Assisting with training of undergraduate intern in cell culture, data analysis and company instrument runs• Presenting data at Applications Team meetings, a group of 5 individuals including 2 graduated students, a master’s holder and 2 PhD holders

- Assisting in the production of cells and multicellular spheroid's.- Performing assays on cells/spheroids. - Analyzing samples on the company's biomedical instrumentation.

- Assisting in microfluidics device fabrication and running of experiments using the device- Developing Computerised molecular logic gates for monitoring logic using DNA strands as inputs, outputs, and gate. Designing the DNA sequences for this project using Nupack designs.- Supporting the study of compartmentalization of DNA strands to aid better diagnosis of diseases with further studies and designs.

- Teaching freshman level chemistry classes at the University of New Mexico- Helping freshman students learn new chemistry skills which would be needed in their higher level chemistry classes.- Helping students understand entry level chemistry concepts and apply their understanding in practical experiments in the laboratory
