Job Description.Financial Reporting • Monthly accurate financial reports including schedules for all businesses.• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements preparation in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulations for all the entities in the group.• Provide management with insights into financial performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.• Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions, ensuring proper elimination and consolidation of financial data for group reporting.Financial Control & Risk Management • Financial planning and analysis function, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for multiple entities.• Participate in strategic planning and decision making as a member of the management and leadership team.• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals.• Supervises the maintenance of positive cashflow for the businesses and review cashflow and working capital needs.Tax Management • Oversee the tax accounting function within the group and interface with tax regulators.• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance with the latest tax requirements.• Ensure full compliance on rendition of all tax returns (PAYE, Pension, VAT & WHTs, CIT).• Computing tax computations for relevant account year audit.• Ensuring a well-co-ordinated group tax supervision and control.Insurance Management.• Ensure all assets of the businesses are insured timely.• Ensure accurate and timely claim settlement.ERP Optimisation • Ensure the ERP Optimization is completed for all the businesses.• Utilize and manage financial reporting software to streamline the reporting process and enhance efficiency.People • To Support the businesses reporting by ensuring all roles are resourced with smart finance associates.• Ensure respect for Internal Governance

• Overseeing and managing all the Accounting & Taxation activities of the business operations.• Ensure monthly financial reports are prepared for the management.• Monitors bank transactions and review monthly bank reconciliation statements.• Review and approve receivable and payable reconciliations with customers and Suppliers.• Liaise with the stakeholders/Financiers, bankers, and investors.• Ensures adherence to internal controls, processes, and procedures.• Prepares periodic internal reports for management decision making.• Ensures prompt annual audit and supervision.• Computing tax computations for relevant account year audit• Attend to and resolve all tax issues.• Oversee the finance department of the group including all the subsidiaries in Senegal & Cameroun• Preparing Quarterly Cash Flow for the company.• Preparing 5-year financial budget and ensuring compliance.• Present profitability reports for management decision making.• Ensure compliance and timely remittance of all regulatory & Statutory Obligations.• Ensuring prompt release of product and issuance of Delivery Order cycles to customers• FIRS tax filing & getting of TCC.• Developing business processes & accounting policies to maintain & strengthen internal controls in all the company’s Rice mills.

• Generate profitability report to management on all projects and contracts both periodically and as at when required.• Collation and checking of monthly schedules.• Preparation of monthly management Account.• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual Budget for the company.• Assist with the audit preparation work to allow for timely completion of the annual financial statements and tax returns.• Collation of the account payable and receivable daily reports to form a cash flow projection.• Payroll supervision.• Prepare weekly schedule of outstanding creditors/vendors liabilities.• Carry out investigation on matching up of Sales and Cost of sales on monthly basis.• Supervision of the monthly and year – end inventory take exercise.• Generating Stock Valuation report• Maintenance of Asset register and Asset schedules.• Issue and raise cheque payments vouchers for suppliers, contractors and service providers.• Raise Forex transfer forms to make foreign supply payments.• Generate withholding tax schedules payable to FIRS/LIRS• Prepare monthly VAT input and output schedules.• Compute VAT payable monthly and ensure timely remittance to the Federal Inland Revenue Service.• Prepare Monthly vendors statement of accounts.• Filing of Annual Returns to the LIRS/FIRS.
