The various tasks listed below are performed to create and sort training materials for the app's artificial intelligence and helps in automating the app: ➢ Entity Labelling​: Identifying prominent entities in various news articles and creating a profile for them, making it easier for readers to find more articles relating to them, search for them and follow them on the mobile app.➢ Keyword Labelling​: Identifying keywords in articles and labelling them for search engine optimization, thereby making it easier for users of the app to search for an article by using keywords.➢ Article Quality Assessment​: Ensuring that articles making their way to the app are void of grammatical errors, clickbait, sexual content, disgusting content, as well as verifying the date of the article’s creation and its authenticity.➢ Category Labelling​: Ensuring that all articles posted on the Opera News app are in their right categories, as well as rectifying issues relating to their category labelling.➢ Fake News Labelling​: Reviewing articles based on complaints submitted by app users and verifying if that article is authentic and from a credible source.➢ Evergreen Labelling:​ Reviewing various articles and using my discretion as an editor to judge if they are time-bound or should be classified as evergreen, thereby allowing such content to spend more time on the app.➢ CMS Review: ​It involves the timely review of articles while using the content management system tool that enables editors to delete or make corrections to content that contains minor errors. Criteria used to judge such content may vary and are solely done based on the editor's discretion.
