- Research topic: scalability of powertrain for electrified vehicles- A joint Ph.D. between the University of Lille (France) and Ghent University (Belgium)Main tasks:- Developed a scaling method for the electric axle components, inverters, electric motors, and gearboxes to accelerate the pre-development phases of electric vehicles- Built a simulation software supporting the scalability of electric vehicles, from light to heavy-duty vehicles, to enable a fast energy consumption assessment and perform system-level optimization- Conducted experimental efficiency benchmarking campaign of high-speed drivetrains with different power ratings- Publicized scientific papers and presented research findings at international conferences and seminars
