Project Name: Access to Combined Prevention Services for Migrants ProjectDescription: As the Project Manager, I spearheaded the implementation of the Access to Combined Prevention Services for Migrants Project, a collaborative initiative aimed at improving the lives of migrants, particularly those from sub-Saharan Africa, settling in the Souss-Massa region of Morocco. This multifaceted project addressed critical challenges faced by migrants, including healthcare access, human rights, and gender equality within the context of migration.Key Achievements:•Orchestrated and led a series of training sessions and workshops, empowering community leaders and service providers to enhance their capabilities.•Played a pivotal role in facilitating migrants' access to essential support services, resulting in increased awareness of their rights, legal procedures, and healthcare services.•Led efforts in early detection and intervention for new cases of HIV and HCV, contributing significantly to improved health outcomes.•Forged and nurtured strategic partnerships with UNAIDS Morocco and prominent local/national associations thereby expanding the project's reach and impact.•Successfully coordinated workshops, which received positive feedback from participants, ensuring their continued engagement in subsequent activities.•Advocated for the critical importance of information access, skill-building workshops, psychological and legal support, and regular health screenings for migrants.This project made a substantial impact in enhancing the well-being and access to vital services for migrants in the Souss-Massa region. It was a transformative experience, and I take pride in contributing to such a meaningful cause.
