Ayrianne worked with community development clients at Rapoza Associates to achieve their legislative and funding goals. In particular, she lobbied on appropriations, tax, community development, workforce development, and SBA microloan issues. She also provided clients strategic advice on creating advocacy materials and developing messaging, including writing and curating content for print and online, aimed at cultivating congressional and public support for the firm, its clients, and their work. Rapoza Associates is a public interest lobbying and government relations firm specializing in federal community and economic development policy, rural housing, and appropriations. The firm's clients work to build stronger communities across the nation – and Rapoza Associates supports their work by providing them a range of key services, including representation before Congress and federal agencies and consultation on federal policy and programs. During her tenure at the Association of Farmworker Opportunity Programs, Ayrianne developed and implemented communications and legislative advocacy strategies for the National Farmworker Jobs Program, Health & Safety Programs, the Children in the Fields Campaign, as well as providing assistance to the organization’s 51 member agencies. As the organization’s first Director of Communications, she drafted and implemented AFOP’s strategic communications plan, which resulted in increased visibility for the organization, including coverage by outlets such as NPR, The New York Times, Fox News, NBC, and Univision. She also served as the chief editor for the association's bimonthly newsletter, The Washington Newsline, worked on large federal and private grant proposal and reporting efforts, and helped advise local organizing efforts on communications and advocacy strategies, connecting voices from the fields with policymakers and media. In addition to her communications role, Ayrianne worked with House and Senate committees on the reauthorization of the Workforce Investment Act, as well as labor and immigration policies impacting farmworkers and their families. She met with Members and staff throughout Congress and in key federal agencies, advocating for legislative priorities, including workforce development, agriculture, and labor policies, as well as appropriations. Ayrianne also provided advocacy guidance and prepared talking points, one-pagers, and other tools for the Association members to use to educate decision-makers and keep them up-to-date on policy objectives.

Ayrianne served as the Public Affairs Manager of the Curley Company from March 2008, until January 2010. During her tenure, she managed public relations for several Curley Company clients, specializing in the drafting of media materials, reputation management, pitching reporters, advising on media messaging and strategy and the implementation/use of new and social media tools. Ayrianne also served as the PR/Media Director and on-the-record spokesperson for select clients, including the Maryland Seafood Festival in 2009 and New Year's Annapolis in 2008 and 2009.In addition to her PR duties, she collaborated on many Curley Company events ranging from large-scale galas to conferences and intimate salon gatherings for organizations such as Center for Democracy and Technology, The Committee of 100, and TechAmerica.

In August 2008, Ayrianne worked on the Women’s Media Team for the Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado. She served as the point of contact for over 3,000 top three media markets and coordinated the media outreach for 13 states in the Midwest region.
