Responsible to ensure that the facility meets HACCP, Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR) and customer Food Safety requirements.Working knowledge of quality practices and procedures and the ability to coordinate and maintain a HACCP ProgramResponsible for all on-site certification and re-certification audits and inspections including, but not limited to: SQF, CFIA, Customers, Internal Audits, etc.Responsible for compliance with GMP guidelines and ensuring that all GMPs and SOPs are followed.Provide Quality Control support for cGMP operations with respect to the analytical testing.Testing of raw materials, in-process controls, intermediates and finished products in support of our cGMP manufacturing operations.Interpret and report all test results, tabulate data and generate reports as required.Assist in maintaining the lab in a state of compliance by performing calibration checks and performance verifications of laboratory equipment.Assist with training, re-training and any additional follow-up for all employees on Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and HACCP Principles.Investigate quality concerns with customers and suppliers; resolve and follow up on corrective actions.
