Strategic Risk Controls And Contract Management - Senior Risk Analyst (Treasury)
CurrentManaged Risk Analysis and assessments for various facilities, complex projects and service areas, handling multi-dimensional assessments, negotiation and contractual risk transfer for major technology and operational projects, such as IBM, Microsoft, Adobe, Google etc. For the following facilities; Port Authority Trans Hudson (PATH - Railroad) System, LaGuardia, Newark, John F Kennedy, Teterboro and Stewart Airports, Ports and Terminals and Multi-Facility contracts affecting more that one facility. Such as those concerning all Aviation and Non-Aviation facilities (PA Police Department, PA Operations, Medical, Law, Human Resources, Procurement etc.). Key Results:Co-Lead of a change management initiative with the Office of Continuous Improvement, for the Contractual Risk Transfer and Request function agency-wide; which will create a searchable database to centralize and streamline the operational/mitigation risk strategies, contract risk, insurance requirements and agency policies. Lead in the assessment, review and recommendation of insurance requirements for designated business units and projects across the agency; including pilot programs, new project development, easements, RFPs and all forms of contracts/agreements. Implement an insurance strategy to ensure appropriate protection throughout the duration of the contract/agreement.Communicated the agency's insurance/risk strategy to internal and external stakeholders, trained staff how to conduct due diligence assessments and create mitigation strategies.Maintained up-to-date knowledge of insurance, government and market influences, to ensure that the appropriate protections are available. Managed special projects such as the Finance Department Diversity and Inclusion Working Group – Education, Training and Events, and complex projects such as Information Technology Management Systems, JFK Power Plant (KAIC/Calpine) and Perimeter Intrusion Defense for Regional International Airports.
