I have a PhD in Chemistry from Ghent University, and over 10 years of experience in polymer processing and materials science, both in academia and industry. I have contributed to patents and multiple publications in the field of biomaterials, and have successfully managed and delivered several projects for our clients and partners. My core competencies include designing and testing novel polymers and biomaterials, overseeing and optimizing the production, quality control processes and R&D activities, collaborating and communicating with internal and external stakeholders, mentoring and supervising scientific staff. I am passionate about creating innovative and sustainable materials that can improve the quality of life and health outcomes for people around the world.
