•Examination of the tender documents, concentrating on understanding the specific expectations of theclient, as well as the relative deadlines and proposal submission requirements•Prepare material take-offs/bill of quantities from the drawings / tender documents•Interface other discipline engineers to work on the pre-bid design for the compilation of BoQs as peroverall project requirements•Independently carry out the cost evaluation for materials, labor and equipment, and other resources for therelevant discipline•Send RFQs to potential vendors and subcontractors for budgetary estimates and prepare commercialcomparatives to support bid proposals•Liaise with the other departments to obtain inputs on the work estimates and resource planning•Present the result of the estimation to the Line Manager for review and approval and make necessarychanges as directed•Prepare technical bid submission documents like – method statements, execution plans, preliminaryschedule, technical narratives, etc.•Prepare and submit proposals to the Client in accordance with RFP requirements
