Starting in 2005, my educational background in business and finance taught me one key component of successful entrepreneurship; there is nothing called stagnation in business, you either keep moving forward or the intensifying competition becomes an abyss that is difficult to recover from. As the CEO Zakori Group, I oversee a portfolio of eleven successful businesses serving various industries, such as manufacturing, hospitality, food and beverage, energy, construction, and IT sector. My career is built on the premise that progress is an active pursuit, not a passive occurrence. In my role as WBAF Senator, representing Pakistan on this global platform of angel investors, startups, policymakers and academics, strategic leadership forms the cornerstone of my approach to fostering entrepreneurial ecosystems. The Industrial Association of Peshawar benefits from this same philosophy, as I drive new business development with a focus on industry needs and advocating effectively. My mission is to foster a culture of entrepreneurship and investment in my country and region, and to contribute to the socio-economic development and empowerment of my people. I am always eager to learn from and collaborate with other leaders and experts in the field, and to share my insights and best practices.As President of the IAP, the team and I work tirelessly to ensure the voice of industry is not only heard but acted upon.
