As an intern in the role of a Junior Electrical Engineer, I have been entrusted with important responsibilities related to electrical safety audit, comprehensive energy audit, earth resistance testing/measurements, preparation and updation of single line diagram, preparation and updation of earth pit layout/cable layout diagram, and power quality audit. These diverse tasks have allowed me to gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience in various aspects of electrical engineering.Skills Developed:- Profound understanding of electrical safety protocols, standards, and regulatory compliance.- Ability to conduct comprehensive energy audits and propose energy-efficient solutions.- Competence in executing earth resistance testing and measurements for proper grounding assessment.- Experience in creating and updating single line diagrams for accurate representation of electrical systems.- Familiarity with the preparation and updation of earth pit layout and cable layout diagrams to optimize electrical infrastructure.- Proficiency in utilizing infrared thermography for preventive maintenance and fault detection in electrical equipment.- Knowledge of power quality audit methodologies and techniques.This internship has provided me with a platform to enhance my technical skills, gain practical exposure to electrical engineering practices, and develop a strong foundation for my career in the field.
